Who Are We?

Caravan Holidays Hopton act as a booking agent for the Guest and Owner for the rental of privately owned holiday homes on holiday parks in the UK to the general public.

Our office is based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, UK.

Who is Collecting Information?

Caravan Holidays Hopton collect certain information in order to process your enquiry and/or booking, to provide you with holiday services, resolve any issues and to keep you updated with promotional offers, that you have the option to opt out of.

What Information is Being Collected?

Caravan Holidays Hopton will collect information such as your name and address, telephone number and email address to enable correct administration of your booking.  For insurance or other bone-fide purposes, we may also ask you to provide details of guests staying in the accommodation.

Payment details provided are processed via our PCI compliant booking system.

When you visit our website, we use Google Analytics and other services to analyse information about your navigation through our website.

Why is Information Collected?

Information is provided by you at point of enquiry or booking and is collected to:

  • To provide you with the best possible service
  • To best manage your booking
  • To enable us to respond to your enquiry
  • To provide you with holiday services
  • To aid administration
  • To help resolve any issues that may arise between the Guest and Owner or for the Owner to contact the Guest directly
  • To keep you updated with promotional offers

How Will Information be Used?

Your information will be used to provide you with the best possible service, to respond to your enquiry, to manage your booking, to process payments, to handle queries or to administer services during and after your stay.  It will also be used for promotional offers until such point as you opt out.

Who Will the Information be Shared With?

From time to time, we may need to share your information with our housekeeping team or other contractor involved in the provision of your holiday to enable them to contact you on day of arrival, during your stay or on check out for matters relating to your holiday.

Your surname will be shared with the holiday home owner at point of booking to enable them to keep track of bookings.  Where a booking is ‘owner managed’, your full details will be shared to enable the owner to administer the booking.

Your data may need to be shared with the holiday home owner or their representative in the event of dispute, query or other eventuality.

Your data may need to be shared with Haven for bone-fide purposes such as registering your booking and presence on park, key release, etc.

Your booking data will be held securely on our booking system until you request removal.

Your data is never sold on and you can request removal at any point after your holiday by contacting us.

How Can you Change or Remove Your Information?

If you wish to update or remove your information, please contact us.

To remove yourself from the mailing list, you have the option to opt out using a link on the MailChimp email.  At this point, Mailchimp will remove your data as outlined in their confirmation.

How Can You Unsubscribe?

You can unsubscribe from promotions by clicking the relevant option on the email or replying to request removal.

To remove your details from our booking system following your holiday, please contact us.

To remove yourself from the mailing list, you  have the option to opt out using a link on the MailChimp email.  At this point, Mailchimp will remove your data and you will receive no further correspondence as per their confirmation.

Please note that if you withdraw your consent to our use of your sensitive personal information, we may not be able to provide all or part of the products and services that you have requested.
